About Premier Family Dental

Our Practice

Premier Family Dental is a general and cosmetic dental practice in Wadsworth, Ohio, led by Dr. Shahir Khalil. We provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages, which means most of what your family needs happens right here instead of being referred somewhere else.

Our approach is straightforward. We keep up with your medical history and medications because your oral health does not exist separately from the rest of your health. We look for problems while they are still small. And we make sure you understand your options before any treatment begins.

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Shahir Khalil grew up in Akron, where his father practiced veterinary medicine in downtown Wadsworth for nearly 40 years. He graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 2000 and completed a residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, earning a license in conscious sedation. Fewer than 1% of Ohio dentists hold that credential.

He built his first office in the Premier building and named the practice after it. In 2010, he oversaw construction of a new building for Premier Family Dental.

He and his wife have two children, Aliyah and Micah. He's active at Grace Church North Campus and enjoys biking and CrossFit.
